Last Chance to Register for the ACQ Congress

Registration for the annual conference of the Association des camps du Québec (ACQ) will close on Tuesday, October 29. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to meet industry experts, exchange innovative ideas, and participate in exciting workshops.

Become a Host Camp for Destination C.A.M.P.

The Association des camps du Québec (ACQ) invites its members to apply to become a host camp for the fourth edition of Destination C.A.M.P. for summer 2025, this program allows children from 11 to 17 years of age to attend summer camps at reduced costs, summer after summer.

Participating sleepaway camps undertake to offer, for at least two consecutive years, places whose costs will be covered by the program. The camps will be matched with participants who have applied for the Destination C.A.M.P. program and who have been selected by a selection committee.

A training kit will be offered to the counselors of participating camps to promote the learning that can be achieved through the experience of a camp stay. The objective is to support the development of Confidence, Autonomy, Motivation and Perseverance through various games offered and feedback.

Participating camps will receive a support kit. Camps that have been participating for several years will receive a reminder letter for campers to renew their stay.

How can I register?

Destination C.A.M.P. is set to grow and expand to reach all of our audiences with future donors! We invite you to be one of the camps advancing the program by completing the registration form now.

You have until January 13th, 2025, to register as a host camp for the 2025 season.

Membership Renewal Period for 2024-2025

The Association des camps du Québec (ACQ) is currently in its membership renewal period for 2024-2025.

New Update and Important Change

Organizations enrolled in the Compliance Program (Reference Framework for Municipal Camps) received an email last week notifying them of a date change for the annual membership renewal. Members under the Reference Framework for Municipal Day Camps will now have their membership renewal date set in October to align with the annual cycle for all ACQ members.

The responsible person received the renewal form link on October 25th.

Please NOTE: If you are a community organization included in the Compliance Program (Reference Framework for Municipal Camps), the city or town must proceed to the renewal for your organization.

Renewal for Certified Camps

Information about changes to the certified camps membership policy and updates to membership fees was emailed last week to the person responsible for your organization.

The person responsible for certification will receive an email with the renewal form link in the coming days.

New Database and Registration Platform

In a constant effort to improve the efficiency of our processes the ACQ has acquired a new internal database and has taken the opportunity to modernize its renewal forms. From now on, it is no longer necessary to create an account on an external site to complete your renewal!
