The ACQ recommends booking your room now if you’d like to stay at Manoir Saint-Sauveur, where the Congrès annuel will take place from November 11 to 13, 2025.

Special rate for congress attendees:

• Rooms available with one or two beds. 
• Single occupancy: starting at $189 + taxes per night
• Double occupancy: Starting at $219 + taxes per night

Deadline: Friday, October 10 (or until rooms sell out)

After this date, regular rates will apply and remaining rooms will be released to the public.

A great success for the first Opération Drapeau

Camps Across Québec Take a Stand Against Violence

On July 17, nearly 600 camps were invited to join Opération Drapeau, a province-wide initiative led by the ACQ and its partners, including the Conseil québécois du loisir (CQL), as part of the JDAA campaign.

Through themed activities and a large-scale game, camps worked on five key skills to prevent violence: communication, cooperation, emotional regulation, empathy, and problem-solving.

Missed it? It’s not too late!

The Opération Drapeau toolkit remains just as relevant in August, whether for prevention or intervention. It includes:

• A guide and video for camp managers, with strategies for prevention and response
• A guide and video for camp staff, filled with tips and ready-to-use activities
• The full game and activity suggestions from the event
