Summer schedule

Take note of the ACQ team summer hours from June 25th to September 2nd:

• Monday to Thursday: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Friday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: closed
• Closed for National holidays: June 24 (Saint-Jean-Baptiste) and July 1 (Canada Day)

2024 ACQ Camp Conference Trailer

On display during this major event which brought together nearly 400 people last year:

• Around twenty speakers who are experts in their field, including seasoned managers, offer a variety of 90-minute workshops on specific proposals for general management and camp coordination teams.

• The ACQ Awards ceremony acknowledges excellence, commitment and surpassing oneself in the world of camps in Quebec.

• A suppliers’ fair bringing together more than 50 exhibitors. A presentation of IDEACONCEPT.

• Multiple opportunities for sharing and networking. Participants who will experience their first conference will be sponsored to optimize their participation.

Opt for the double program with the pre-conference!

Extend the experience on Monday by participating in the pre-conference during which you will visit Camp Trois-Saumons part of Camps Odyssée before going to the Saint-Alexandre music camp for dinner and accommodations. The next day, students from the recreational tourism program of the community recreation leadership training at the Cégep de Rivière-du-Loup will offer a unique tour of their city.

The 2024 ACQ Awards

The Association des Camps du Québec (ACQ) has been proud of its members for over 60 years for their involvement with children, youth, counselors and their families. The Distinction and Excellence awards highlight the exceptional quality and vivacity of the camp industry in Quebec, which are presented each year at its annual conference.

Distinction Awards:

Applications and awards process

Each year, the Association des camps du Québec (ACQ) members, certified camps and compliant municipal member camps, are invited to submit their applications for the ACQ Awards during the nomination period between May and the last Friday in September at 5 p.m. An application file is considered complete when the online submission form is completed, signed and sent with all elements required according to the type of award.

In 2024, the application period extends until Friday, September 27th, 5 p.m.
