Kinkora Activity Camp provides the access, opportunities, and space in nature for individuals and organizations to grow, learn, and build connections, enriching our unique community.


 

Camp Kinkora’s summer session operates using a unique community-based model.

A seasonal summer support staff is hired each year to manage camp operations (waterfront, food services, recreation, and maintenance, etc).

A small year-round part-time staff is responsible for the planning and administration of the summer session.

Partner groups move in and out of camp weekly.

This structure frees up partner groups to focus entirely on their campers and not on the daily operations of acampsite.

On average, 20 partner groups rent the site over the 11-week summer session. which extends from mid June to early September.

We also have a specialized camp for adults with intellectual disabilities. Kinkora House is a camp vacation for adults with intellectual disabilities. Our dedicated staff provide our Kinkora House campers with the support they need to take part in activities ranging from boating and swimming to games and arts and crafts to explore their creativity.
